Eligiendo el camino correcto… / Choosing the right path…

“Tomar una decisión por lo general significa tomar uno de dos caminos. Uno es el correcto. Si para tomar el otro camino, tienes que sentarte y tejer una historia alrededor de la decisión o acción que estas tomando. Si te encuentras pensando en una elaborada justificación de lo que estás haciendo, no estás haciendo lo correcto.”

Wayne Sales

Wayne Sales (nacido el 28 de diciembre 1949) es ex Director Ejecutivo de Canadá Ltd. Tire Corp. Ocupó la posición de agosto de 2000 a mayo de 2006. Antes de esto, ocupó el cargo de vicepresidente ejecutivo de Canadian Tire Retail.
En 2004, el Consejo de Ventas al Menudeo de Canadá reconoció sus logros de ventas en la dirección de Canadian Tire por un éxito comercial sin precedente. En distinción a esta hazaña fue reconocido como El Vendedor Canadiense Más Distinguido del Año.
Sales fue nombrado el CEO del año de Canadá en 2005 por la revista Canadian Business All-Star Execs list, que se publicó de abril 25 a mayo 8 de 2005.

Wayne Sales (born December 28, 1949) is the former Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Tire Corp. Ltd.. He held position from August 2000 to May 2006. Prior to this, he held the position of Executive VP, Canadian Tire Retail. In May 2006, Mr. Sales was replaced by Tom Gauld.
In 2004, the Retail Council of Canada recognized Sales' accomplishments in leading Canadian Tire to outstanding business success. In recognition of this feat he was presented with the Distinguished Canadian Retailer of the Year Award.
Sales was named the top Canadian CEO in Canadian Business magazine's 2005 All-Star Execs list, which was published in the April 25-May 8, 2005 issue.
