Winston Churchill Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill, (Palacio de Blenheim, 30 de noviembre de 1874 – Londres, 24 de enero de 1965) fue un político y hombre de estado británico, conocido por su liderazgo del Reino Unido durante la II Guerra Mundial. Es considerado uno de los grandes líderes de tiempos de guerra y fue Primer Ministro del Reino Unido en dos períodos (1940-45 y 1951-55). Notable hombre de estado y orador, Churchill fue también oficial del Ejército Británico, historiador, escritor y artista. Hasta la fecha es el único Primer Ministro Británico que ha sido galardonado con el Premio Nobel de Literatura, y fue nombrado ciudadano honorario de los Estados Unidos de América.

Winston Churchill Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill, (30 November 1874 – 24 January 1965) was a British Conservative politician and statesman known for his leadership of the United Kingdom during the Second World War. Widely regarded as one of the greatest wartime leaders of the century, he served as Prime Minister twice (1940–45 and 1951–55). A noted statesman and orator, Churchill was also an officer in the British Army, a historian, a writer, and an artist. He is the only British prime minister to have received the Nobel Prize in Literature, and was the first person to be made an Honorary Citizen of the United States.
